What is NLP?

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) was originally developed by Linguistic John Grinder and Mathematician Richard Bandler. The NLP model is based on how we process information that comes in from the outside world and what we do with it internally. The study of NLP seeks to educate people in self-awareness and effective communication. Over time NLP has evolved to include an extensive toolbox of techniques and strategies that assist people in creating rapid change in thinking, learning and behaviour.

NLP is essentially how to use the language of the mind to consistently achieve our specific and desired outcomes. It encompasses an attitude of curiosity and willingness towards personal development and empowerment. It is a methodology of modeling in order to achieve excellence and it encompasses a myriad of powerful tools and techniques. One of the highlights of NLP is that it focuses on the strategies of how a person does the problem rather than what the problem is.
